AddsYou.com is a new content writing site. AddsYou.com has touted that you can post just about anything, even upload your blog posts to the site, and get paid for it. After waiting for the much anticipated first payout, I was beyond disappointed.

From day one of the site being “live”, I had 23 articles up, and added two less than a week ago. All of my articles were rates at least an 8, with most being 9 and 10, and close to 7,000 page views. Out of ten available spots on the “most viewed” page, eight of my articles were listed, for almost the entire life of the site thus far.

So I logged in tonight, to again check to see if payments have been issued. I was told a few days ago that they would be issued about the first of the month. They were indeed posted. I made a whopping $2.35 for my articles posted to AddsYou.

For some, this might seem an okay amount. It’s not for me. I removed my articles from AddsYou.com but left the account open. It’s not okay to me for a site to make money from my work, and I get $2.35 of those earnings. Granted, because it is a new site, earnings might increase. Anything is possible. But I didn’t and won’t leave my articles on the site to find out. I’m worth much more that $2.35 … but that’s my personal feelings.

Bukisa is also a new site, about as new as AddsYou.com is, and my earnings there have far surpassed those with AddsYou. Bukisa is a wonderful alternative to anyone wanting to get paid for writing online.

Freelance Job Openings

by BlondieWrites on December 16, 2008

For those forever in search of the elusive freelance writing jobs, I happened to come across a new and promising freelance job board today at http://www.freelancejobopenings.com. At present, there are almost three dozen freelance writing jobs listed.

It’s notable that the site is called Freelance Job Openings, meaning that one would perhaps expect to find not only freelance writing jobs, but freelance blogging jobs, freelance graphic design, freelance photography, etc.

They also offer a free job posting service, something that might become a paid feature once the sight becomes better known and gains traffic.

This is one to check on regularly.
